Choosing dressing tables

Choose by the space you have

These are typical sizes; we build to your wall and the mirror height you want.

Small bedrooms

In a small room, choose a shallow wall-mounted dressing table with a mirror above and one or two drawers, and a stool that tucks fully underneath. A light polish and a round or arched mirror make the room feel larger. Another option is to build the dressing area into one end of a wardrobe.

Mirror, light and storage

Place the dressing table where daylight falls on your face, not behind you. A mirror around 2 to 3 ft tall suits most rooms; a tall mirror gives a full-length view. Ask for a drawer divided for jewellery and cosmetics, and a cable hole for a hair dryer if there is a socket nearby.

Matching your bed set

A dressing table made in the same wood, carving and polish as your bed is the easiest way to make a bedroom feel complete. If you already own a bed from us, tell us the invoice details and we will match the shade. Or buy it as part of a bed set or bridal set.

The stool

A dressing table stool should sit low enough that your knees fit under the top, usually around 17 to 18 inches for a table about 30 inches high. A padded seat in the same fabric as a cushion bed headboard ties the room together. If space is tight, choose a backless stool that slides fully under the table.

Care

Wipe spills of perfume, nail polish remover and hair oil straight away: solvents can mark any polish. Use a tray for bottles, clean the mirror with a soft cloth, and keep the table out of strong direct sun.

Delivery and custom work

We deliver across Islamabad and Rawalpindi; the mirror travels separately and is fixed in your room. For a dressing table ka design from a photo, use custom furniture. Browse the full bedroom range for matching pieces.

Frequently asked questions

Which dressing table design is best for a small bedroom?

A shallow wall-mounted dressing table with a mirror above and a stool that tucks underneath takes the least floor space. A round or arched mirror and a light polish make the room feel bigger. You can also build the dressing section into one end of a wardrobe.

Wooden dressing table with mirror: what sizes are available?

Common sizes run from about 2.5 to 3 feet wide for compact and wall-mounted designs up to about 4 or 4.5 feet for classic designs with drawers on both sides. Because we build to order, we can make any width and mirror height that suits your wall.

Can the dressing table match my bed set?

Yes. We can make it in the same wood, carving and polish shade as your bed. If you bought your bed from us, share the invoice details so we match the original. For a bed from elsewhere, send clear daylight photos and we will match it as closely as possible.

Do you make wall-mounted dressing tables?

Yes. A wall-mounted dressing table is fixed to the wall with a mirror above, leaving the floor clear, which suits small rooms and apartments. It can have one or two drawers and a stool that tucks underneath. We check the wall type when fitting so the fixings hold safely.
