A kitchen is the hardest-working room in a Pakistani home: steam from the handi, oil in the air, water at the sink and a family opening the same doors forty times a day. We design, build and install kitchen cabinets that are made for that life, measured to your walls and fitted by our own carpenters, for homes in Islamabad and Rawalpindi only.

What we make

  • Complete kitchens: base cabinets, wall cabinets, tall pantry units and corner units planned as one run, with the hob, sink and fridge placed where you actually work.
  • Appliance housings: built-in oven and microwave towers, fridge surrounds and space for a water dispenser or dishwasher.
  • Breakfast counters and islands where the room allows, with storage on the kitchen side.
  • Kitchen renovation: where the existing carcasses are sound we can replace shutters, hinges and runners; where they are swollen or weak we rebuild the run properly.

Every kitchen starts from a measured drawing, not a catalogue size, so a 9 ft wall gets a 9 ft kitchen and the last cabinet does not stop short of the corner.

Materials, honestly compared

There is no single "best material for kitchen cabinets in Pakistan". The right answer is usually a mix: tougher boards where water reaches, better-looking material where the eye lands. Here is how the options we work with compare.

MaterialWhere it works bestWhat to watch
Solid SheeshamShutters, frames, open shelves for a warm, grained or carved lookHighest cost; needs a good finish near the sink and hob
Solid Diyar (Deodar)Shutters and frames; lighter in weight and carves cleanlyOnly the heartwood is durable; sapwood is attacked by insects
Veneer (real wood on a board core)The look of ash, oak or walnut at a lower cost; can be lightly refinishedEdges must be sealed; the core decides how it handles moisture
Laminated MDF or LasaniMid budgets; wipeable, wide choice of colours and texturesSwells if water gets into an unsealed edge; cannot be refinished
PlywoodSink base, dishwasher side and any wet zoneBetter screw holding and moisture tolerance than MDF or chipboard; still seal the edges
Solid surface (Corian type)Seamless countertops; light scratches can be sanded outUse trivets under hot pans

"Lasani" is a trade name buyers use for laminated board, and the core underneath can be MDF or particleboard. Always ask which core you are paying for. We write the material of every part (carcass, shutters, back panels, shelves, countertop) on the quote, so you know exactly what goes where. Boards are also sold in different formaldehyde emission classes; E1 or better is a sensible minimum for a room where food is prepared.

How a kitchen project runs

  1. Enquiry. Send photos of the space and rough wall lengths on WhatsApp, with your sector or area. Tell us how you cook: a family that fries every day needs different planning from one that mostly reheats.
  2. Free home measurement visit. Our team measures every wall, window, gas point, water line and electrical socket, and checks the walls for damp before anything is designed.
  3. Design and quote. You receive a layout drawing and an itemised quote, part by part. We revise it until the layout, the materials and the budget all sit right.
  4. Workshop build. Carcasses and shutters are cut, assembled and finished in our workshop, not improvised on site, which keeps joints tight and finishes clean.
  5. Installation. We fit, level and fix the cabinets, set the countertop, hang the shutters and adjust every hinge and runner.
  6. Aftercare. Hinges settle in the first months of use. Call us and we will come back to adjust them.

How long it takes

A kitchen typically takes a few weeks from approved design to installation, depending on its size, the materials and the finish. Solid wood shutters take longer than laminated board because the timber is finished by hand. You get a working schedule with your quote, and we tell you early if anything changes.

What affects the price

We do not publish a single per-foot rate, because two kitchens of the same length can differ a great deal in cost. What moves the number:

  • The running length and height of the cabinets, and how many tall units you need
  • The material chosen for each part: carcass, shutters and countertop
  • Shutter style: flat, profiled or carved
  • Hardware: hinges, soft-close runners, baskets, corner carousels and lift-up mechanisms vary widely by brand
  • Appliance housings and any glass or open shelving
  • Site work, such as removing an old kitchen or repairing a damp wall first

Because the quote is itemised, you can trade up where it matters to you (shutters, hinges) and save where it does not show (inside shelves).

Guarantee on solid Sheesham parts

Solid Sheesham shutters and frames are covered by our 50-year Sheesham wood guarantee on the heartwood, for indoor domestic use, with the polish covered for one year. Board parts (MDF, Lasani, plywood and veneer boards) and hardware are not part of that guarantee; we explain what covers them in writing with your quote.

Frequently asked questions

How much do kitchen cabinets cost in Islamabad?

It depends on the length of the kitchen, the material of each part, the shutter style and the hardware, so we do not quote a flat per-foot rate. After a free home measurement visit we send an itemised quote, so you can see the cost of every part and adjust materials to your budget.

Which material is best for kitchen cabinets in Pakistan?

Usually a mix. Plywood or another moisture-tolerant board for the sink base and wet zones, laminated MDF or Lasani for mid-budget carcasses and shutters, and solid Sheesham or Diyar shutters when you want real wood. Ask which core is under any laminated board, and choose E1 or better boards for a kitchen.

Do you visit the site to measure?

Yes. Every kitchen starts with a free home measurement visit in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, where we measure the walls, gas, water and electrical points and check for damp before designing.

How long does a kitchen installation take?

Typically a few weeks from approved design to installation, depending on size, materials and finish. Solid wood shutters take longer than laminated board. You get a working schedule with your quote.

Which areas do you cover?

All of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, including DHA, Bahria Town, E-11, the F and G sectors, PWD, B-17, Gulraiz, Adyala Road, Satellite Town and Saddar.

Do you work outside Islamabad and Rawalpindi?

No. Kitchen and carpentry work is limited to Islamabad and Rawalpindi so that measurement, installation and aftercare are done by our own team.

What warranty do kitchen cabinets carry?

Solid Sheesham shutters and frames carry our 50-year Sheesham wood guarantee on the heartwood, with the polish covered for one year. Board parts and hardware are not covered by that guarantee; we set out in writing what covers them with your quote.
