Finding a good carpenter in Islamabad or Rawalpindi usually means asking around and hoping. We offer the other way: carpenters who work for a furniture business that has been building in solid wood since 1985, who measure before they quote, put the quote in writing and come back if something needs adjusting.

What carpentry work we take on

  • Kitchens and kitchen cabinets, designed and installed. See kitchen cabinets.
  • Built-in wardrobes, cupboards and walk-in closets. See built-in wardrobes.
  • Cabinets and storage for lounges, stores and staircases, including under-stair cupboards and wall units
  • TV and media walls with closed storage and cable management
  • Vanity units and bathroom cabinets, built from moisture-tolerant materials
  • Study and office built-ins: desks, bookshelves and filing storage made to the room
  • Furniture made to measure, from beds to dining tables. See custom furniture.

Have something else in mind, like a repair or a re-polish on solid wood furniture? Send photos on WhatsApp first. We will tell you honestly whether it is work our team can do well.

Why people choose our carpenters

  • One accountable team. The people who measure are the people who build and fit. Nothing is passed to an unknown subcontractor.
  • Workshop-made, site-fitted. Parts are cut, assembled and finished in our workshop, then fitted on site, so your home is not a sawdust yard for weeks.
  • Real wood knowledge. We work with Sheesham, Kail, Diyar, Akhrot and Teak every day and will tell you plainly which suits the job.
  • A written, itemised quote before any work starts.

Choosing the right wood for the job

  • Sheesham: dense, strong and naturally termite-resistant heartwood, the choice for furniture-grade pieces. Solid Sheesham heartwood carries our 50-year guarantee.
  • Kail (blue pine): a light softwood for doors, frames, panelling and painted joinery. It is not naturally termite resistant, so it should be treated.
  • Diyar (Deodar): an aromatic, lighter wood for frames, doors and wardrobes; the heartwood is very durable.
  • Akhrot (walnut): a luxury wood for carved panels and statement pieces, best kept indoors.
  • Teak: imported, and very durable, for areas that see moisture. Its origin is rarely verifiable, so ask for documents.

For kitchens and built-ins, engineered boards often make sense for carcasses. Our guide to boards and surfaces compares MDF, Lasani, plywood, veneer and solid surface.

How carpenter rates work

Buyers searching for carpenter labour rates in Islamabad will see three ways of charging: per square foot (common for shutters and wardrobes), per running foot (common for kitchens) and per day (labour only, with you buying the materials). Each can hide surprises: a low per-day rate can stretch across many days, and a per-foot rate rarely includes hardware.

We quote per job instead, after seeing the work, with materials, hardware and fitting listed separately. You know the full cost before we start, and you can change a material and see exactly what it does to the price.

How a job runs

  1. Message or call us with photos and a short description of the work.
  2. Site visit. For built-in work we measure at your home, free of charge, and check walls for damp before designing.
  3. Quote and drawing. You get an itemised quote, with a drawing for anything built in.
  4. Workshop build. Parts are made and finished in our workshop.
  5. Fitting. Our carpenters install and adjust everything on site and clear up after themselves.
  6. Aftercare. If a hinge drops or a drawer needs adjusting, call us and we will come back.

Timing depends on the job and our current schedule. Small fittings can often be arranged quickly; built-in work typically takes a few weeks from approved drawing to fitting.

Frequently asked questions

What carpentry work do you take on?

Kitchens, built-in wardrobes and cupboards, cabinets and storage, TV walls, vanity units, study and office built-ins, and furniture made to measure. For repairs or re-polish work, send photos on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it suits our team.

What are carpenter labour rates in Islamabad?

Carpenters charge per square foot, per running foot or per day. We quote per job after seeing the work, with materials, hardware and fitting listed separately, so you know the full cost before we start.

How quickly can a carpenter visit?

Message or call us with photos and your area and we will arrange a visit time. It depends on the current schedule and the type of job.

Do you work in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes. We work across both cities, including Bahria Town, Gulraiz, Adyala Road, Satellite Town and Saddar in Rawalpindi, and DHA, E-11, the F and G sectors, PWD and B-17 in Islamabad. We do not take carpentry work outside the twin cities.

Do I need to buy the wood and materials myself?

No. Our quotes include materials, hardware and fitting, listed separately so you can see each cost. If you would like to use a particular board or hardware brand, tell us and we will price it.

Which wood should I choose for doors and frames?

Kail is light and economical for doors, frames and painted joinery but should be treated against termites. Diyar heartwood is more durable and aromatic. Sheesham is the strongest choice for furniture-grade work and carries our 50-year guarantee on solid heartwood.
