Choosing king size beds
King size bed sizes in Pakistan
A king size bed in Pakistan is built around a 6 ft wide mattress. The two common lengths are 6.5 ft and 7 ft. The frame itself is wider and longer than the mattress, because of the side rails and the headboard, so always plan the room for the frame.

What room size do you need?
As a rule of thumb, leave about 2 to 2.5 ft on both sides of the bed for bedside tables and walking, and about 2.5 ft at the foot. That means a room of around 12 x 12 ft takes a king bed with two side tables comfortably. In a smaller room, a queen bed (5 x 6.5 ft) gives back a foot of floor.
King or queen?
Choose king if two adults share the bed, if a child sometimes joins you, or if one of you moves a lot at night. Choose queen if the room is under about 11 ft wide or if you need space for a wardrobe or dressing table on the same wall.
Headboard styles

King beds can be made with a lift-up box base or with two to four drawers. A box base holds quilts and seasonal clothes; drawers suit things you reach for daily.
Woods for a king bed
