Most desks are about 29 to 30 inches high. Leave at least 3 ft behind the chair so it can roll back, and more where visitors sit across an executive table. We build to your room.
The executive table
An executive table sets the tone of an office. A wide top in solid Sheesham or Akhrot (walnut), a modesty panel at the front, locking pedestal drawers and a side return for a printer or files are the usual elements. Carved Chinioti detailing suits a traditional office; plain panels and tapered legs suit a modern one.
L shape and corner desks
An L shape gives one side for the computer and one for paperwork, and fits neatly into a corner. Tell us the length of both walls and whether the return should sit on the left or right.
Study tables
For children, choose a smaller top with a shelf for books, a drawer for stationery and rounded corners. A solid wood study table will survive years of homework and can be passed down.
Cables and practical details
Ask for cable cut-outs or grommet holes, a hidden tray under the top for chargers and extension boards, and a keyboard tray if needed. Tell us where your sockets are.
Meeting and reception tables
A meeting table needs about 2 ft of edge per person, like a dining table, and a base that leaves knee room, so pedestal bases work well. A reception counter should be high enough on the visitor's side to lean on and lower on the staff side for a computer. We can make both in the same wood and finish as your executive tables.

Sheesham is hard and dent-resistant, about 1,660 lbf on the Janka scale (Wood Database), which matters on a desk used every day; solid Sheesham parts carry our 50-year Sheesham wood guarantee. Akhrot gives a rich executive look; Diyar and Kail suit lighter, lower-cost study tables.
