Buying guide
Choosing tv units & consoles
Size the unit to the screen and the wall
As a guide, the TV unit should be wider than the screen, so the TV does not look perched on top. Measure the screen including its stand, and the full wall. For comfortable viewing, the middle of the screen should sit roughly at eye level when you are seated, which for most sofas means a low unit around 16 to 20 inches high, or a wall-mounted screen above a floating console.
Free-standing or floating
A free-standing console is simple to move and holds heavy equipment easily. A floating (wall-hung) unit keeps the floor clear, makes cleaning easier and looks lighter. It needs a solid wall; on hollow or damp walls we may recommend a free-standing piece instead.
Storage and cables
Ask for closed cabinets for routers and decoders (with ventilation holes), drawers for remotes and chargers, open shelves for books, and a cable channel at the back so wires run out of sight to the socket.
Woods
Sheesham for a warm reddish brown, Akhrot (walnut) for a darker look, Diyar for a light tone. Solid Sheesham parts carry the 50-year Sheesham wood guarantee.
Full media walls
For a wall-to-wall media unit with panelling, shelving and lighting, our carpenters can design and fit it on site after a home visit in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. For a free-standing design from a photo, use custom furniture. Pair with a sofa set and center table.
Frequently asked questions
What size TV unit do I need?
Choose a unit wider than your TV so the screen does not overhang or look perched. Measure the screen and its stand, then the wall. For a seated view, a low unit around 16 to 20 inches high usually puts the middle of the screen near eye level.
Can you install a floating TV unit on my wall?
Yes, in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on request. Our team checks the wall first: solid brick or concrete holds a wall-hung unit well, while hollow or damp walls may need a free-standing console instead. We confirm installation when we confirm the order.
Can the TV unit hide cables?
Yes. We can cut a cable channel at the back, add ventilated cabinets for routers and decoders, and drill grommet holes so wires run neatly to the socket. Tell us where your sockets and cable points are when you order, so the holes line up.
Do you build full media walls?
Yes, through our carpentry service in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. We visit your home, measure the wall, check the sockets and design a fitted media wall with panelling, shelves and closed storage with you. Then our carpenters build and install it on site.
